Contexte
Le village de Sare Pathe Kamako se situe à quelques kilomètres de la rivière Casamance. Les femmes s’approvisionnent quotidiennement en eau. Celle-ci est impropre à la consommation humaine et provoque de nombreux troubles sanitaires dont des maladies diarrhéiques.
C’est dans ce cadre que le conseil départemental de Kolba et le fonds de dotation safe water cube s’associent pour récolter des dons.

Le projet consiste à installer 1 fontaine ‘safe water cube’ dans le village de Sare Pathe Kamako au Sénégal pour permettre à toute la population d’avoir accès à de l’eau potable et éviter la prolifération des maladies dues à une mauvaise qualité de l’eau.
Ce projet est axé sur les deux points suivants : EAU et SANTÉ
- La fourniture et la mise en place d’une fontaine ‘safe water cube’.
- Apporter une formation auprès de la population sur l’importance de l’eau potable.
Les objectifs du projet:
- Installer une Safe Water Cube va permettre aux 800 habitants du village d’avoir accès à de l’eau potable.
- Former la population aux besoins sanitaires et d’hygiène.

Context
The village of Sare Pathe Kamako is located a few kilometers from the Casamance River. Women get their daily water supply. This is unfit for human consumption and causes many health problems including diarrheal diseases.
It is within this framework that the Kolba County Council and the Safe Water Cube Endowment Fund team up to raise donations.
Presentation of the project in the village of Sare Pathe Kamako
The project consisted of installing 1 safe water cube fountain in the village of Sare Pathe Kamako in Senegal to allow the entire population to have access to drinking water and prevent the proliferation of diseases due to poor quality of water.
This project focuses on two points: WATER and HEALTH
- The supply and installation of a fountain Safe Water Cube
- Provide training to the public on the importance of drinking water.
Targets of the projet:
- Installing a Safe Water Cube will allow the 800 inhabitants of the village to have access to drinking water.
- Train the population in health and hygiene needs.
